Job Description

We are looking for an experienced practitioner with minimum level 3 in childcare to join our team.



1. To prepare activities for the education, care and safeguarding of the children and with the team ensure the smooth and effective running of the systems in place that ensure the curriculum is delivered through our activities.

2. To be involved in the planning for your room.

3. To provide high quality teaching and interaction with all children.

4. To be a key worker to a group of children and to liaise with parents and carers to ensure your children's needs are met.

5. To complete each child's learning journal regularly to ensure we monitor progress and to implement intervention as and when required

6. To attend staff meetings.

7. Attend training courses and in-house training.

8. To help enhance continuous provision

9. To ensure safety checks are carried out daily and to ensure the environment is safe for children and staff.

10. To keep all information private and confidential regarding pre-school matters and information about children and their families.

11. To ensure you have input completing focus child teaching moments and the mapping of the curriculum.

12. To implement all pre-school policies and procedures.

13. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the supervisor or manager, in accordance with the pre-school business plan/objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
