Chloe May's Dance Academy is on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Pre-School & Infant Ballet Teacher to join our well-established, recreational dance school at our Kidderminster Studio on Sunday mornings from September onwards.
We're looking for an individual who genuinely loves working with little ones and understands the unique patience, energy, and creativity it takes to teach our tiniest dancers. This role is not just about the steps -- it's about magic, imagination, nurturing and making every child feel like a star.
What we're looking for:
Experience working with young children (ages 2-6) in a dance or early years setting
A dance background with a basic knowledge of Ballet (experience in Acro or gymnastics is also beneficial)
Someone who can lead a class with confidence. We are looking for a nurturing and organised individual with an enthusiastic, professional and warm approach to children and their caregivers.
Commitment to consistent weekly classes during term time - our students thrive on familiar faces and routines
Available on Sunday mornings and can commute to Kidderminster
In return, we offer:
A warm, welcoming team and supportive environment
Ongoing curriculum guidance and on-the-job training
A chance to inspire and develop your career as a dance teacher
15.00-25.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Part-time role - approx. 3.5 hours per week on Sunday mornings
Please only apply if:
You are genuinely passionate about teaching young children
You have reliable transport and can commit to Sunday mornings
(A car is essential for this role as public transport does not run early on Sunday mornings)
You are comfortable leading 'parent & child' type classes and can build positive relationships with both young children and their caregivers
You hold (or are willing to obtain prior to starting) an enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid qualification
If this sounds like the perfect fit and you're ready to bring joy, structure, and sparkle to our little dancers' lives -- we'd love to hear from you!
If you have any questions upon application, please do not hesitate to reach out. On applying for this role please explain how your skills / experience make you suitable for the role if this is not shown clearly on your CV.
