We are seeking a passionate and dedicated and experienced pre-school Manager to join our early years team.
We are a warm and nurturing pre - school, committed to delivering high quality care and education through play.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early learning childcare with a genuine enthusiasm for fostering young children's development.
This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through engaging activities, nurturing guidance, and effective management of pre school routines.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills in English and be capable of demonstrating leadership and management qualities to create a safe, stimulating, learning environment for our preschool children.
Responsibilities include
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and teamwork
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Assess individual children's progress and provide feedback to parents and management
Maintain accurate records of attendance, safeguarding, behavioural notes, and developmental milestones
Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, respect, and inclusivity within the classroom
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Ensure the setting meets all the Ofsted and Statutory Requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee pre school activities effectively
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods and play-based learning
Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator) are preferred
Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
