Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Practitioner level 3 to join our vibrant early years team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing young minds. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. The Preschool practitioner will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for learning and helping children develop essential skills for their future.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development. Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Engage with children in various activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play. Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Manage behaviour through positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised space.

Experience

A level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire young learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. A proactive drive to create engaging learning experiences for children. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Monday 8:30am-3:30pm

Tuesday 8:30am-3:30pm

Thursday 8:45am-3:15pm

Friday 8:45am-3:30pm

Term time.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.65-12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
