Job post: Pre-School Practitioner

Based at: Panda Pre-school Chadderton

Hours: 27 hrs 45mins term time only

We are looking for passionate, caring individual who can provide a hands-on, fun, creative and an innovative environment for children in our pre-school.

Panda Pre-school has been established for over 20 years and operates over two sites in Oldham. As a non for profit pre-school, it is owned and managed by WFCDP and any profit goes back into the work of the charity.

Panda Chadderton is a pack away pre-school setting which can take up to 40 children per session and, has friendly welcoming team of 7 highly qualified staff which provides the highest standard of care and education within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

Pre-school practitioners' responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Ensuring that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Observe, support, and extend children learning.

Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.

Maintain accurate and effective children's records.

To develop and maintain professional relationships with families and external agencies.

Demonstrate good working practice of inclusion and an understanding of EAL, and SEND

Ensuring that all policies and procedures are embedded in daily practice,

You must have

Minimum of level 2 qualification in childcare or a recognised equivalent recognised by the DFE if Level 3 qualified a minimum L2 qualification in English Language is also required. In depth knowledge of the EYFS To have at least 1 years' experience in a pre-school setting To have working knowledge of SEND, EAL and equal opportunities Committed to becoming a part of our hard-working team of practitioners.
This role will be supported by the Pre-school Manager and as organisation we support all staff through continuous professional development to ensure they have the effective knowledge to thrive and support the children in our setting.
