We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts as per engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct tooling and settings required for production. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet the required standards and tolerances. Collaborate with team members in the fabrication process, including grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques, with experience in sheet metal work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools and tooling used in the manufacturing process. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience in grinding and welding is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
