Press Brake Operator

to join our growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

BASIC SALARY:

15.50 per hour

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 AM - 17:15 PM Friday: 07:00 AM - 13:00 PM Overtime opportunities available

As a

Press Brake Operator

at Daventry Metal Products Ltd, you will be responsible for operating our Bystronic press brake machines to produce high-quality component parts. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production commitments are met and adhering to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set Bystronic press brakes (80 to 150 tones) to meet production requirements Perform general metalworking duties as needed, including rolling and forming Work flexibly within the sheet metal team and assist with the Laser machine as required Contribute to departmental output by working towards KPIs and production goals Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain quality control processes

You may be required to take on other reasonable tasks consistent with departmental objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven experience in operating press brake machines Ability to work to tight deadlines Previous experience with Bystronic equipment is desirable but not essential Strong attention to detail, methodical and precise work ethic Ability to work unsupervised and maintain motivation Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns

Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering environment is essential Experience in operating press brake machinery and working with sheet metal Ability to meet production deadlines and contribute to team targets

Personal Qualities:

Punctual and reliable with excellent attendance Self-motivated and capable of working independently Positive attitude and a flexible approach to tasks Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
