Job Title: Press Brake Programmer (Afternoon Shift)

Salary: 36,504 - 38,532 per annum (includes shift allowance)

Location: Leicester

Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Initial training period on day shift)

Are you a skilled Press Brake Programmer looking to join a growing and well-established engineering company in Leicester?

Peopletech Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a high-quality manufacturing business that operates a range of press brakes from 10 to 400 tonnes. Due to growth, they're now seeking an experienced programmer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and set up press brake machines for efficient and accurate production. Work with a range of presses from

10 to 400 tonnes

. Interpret

3D CAD drawings

to create accurate bend sequences and tooling setups. Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications. Assist with machine maintenance and uphold safe working practices. Support operators with technical guidance and setup instructions as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in

press brake programming

, not just operation. Ability to read and interpret

3D CAD drawings

and technical schematics. Experience with a range of press brake equipment and tooling. Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, and bend allowances. Willingness to work the 2pm-10pm shift following an initial training period on days.
