Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team at Greenfield Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to fabricate high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our reputation for precision and excellence in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine job requirements. Ensure the quality of finished products through regular inspections and adjustments. Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating specifications accurately. Salvagnini panel bending experience would be desirable. Ability to read technical documents, such as blueprints or manuals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
