Part-Time Primary Tutor (Years 3-6) - Step Forward Tuition, Whitefield

Step Forward Tuition is seeking a

Part-Time Primary Tutor

to join our growing tuition centre in Whitefield. You'll support children from

Years 3-6

in a combination of Maths, English, and Science. These roles are available

as soon as possible

.

Hours & Setting

Conduct

one?to?one and small?group sessions

(up to 8 students) from

4:30?pm to 7:30?pm on Tuesdays

. Flexible scheduling is available to fit around your other commitments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Deliver

tailored lessons

following structured plans, adapted to each pupil's individual learning needs. Maintain

detailed records

of lesson delivery and student progress. Provide

informative feedback

to parents after sessions. Participate in occasional team meetings as required.

Candidate Requirements

A

PGCE or QTS

(

degree-level education)

, GCSE Maths, English, and Science at grades

A-C

(or equivalent). Clear, fluent verbal communication. Professional appearance and a neat, well-organised learning environment. Punctuality and reliability. Ability to confidently teach primary-level Maths, English, and Science.

Desirable but Not Essential

Previous

teaching or tutoring experience

, especially with primary-aged children. Experience working with children in any capacity.
