PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER WITH SEN EXPERIENCE

Job Summary

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students. Educate students in core subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support student learning. Employ behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth. Create an inclusive classroom culture that respects diversity and promotes equality among all students. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficient in behaviour management techniques to maintain discipline while fostering a supportive learning environment. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices that promote holistic development in young learners. Ability to educate diverse groups of students with varying abilities and backgrounds. Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and manage classroom activities efficiently. A nurturing attitude that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
