Hours & Setting
One?to?one and small-group sessions (up to 8 students)
from 4:30?pm to 7:30?pm
Flexible scheduling available to fit around your commitments
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Plan and deliver
structured lessons
, adapting content to each pupil's individual SEND needs
Use diagnosis and progress to
tailor teaching approaches
, helping students overcome learning barriers.
Maintain
detailed records
of session content and student progress
Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents after sessions
Attend occasional team meetings to share insights and coordinate support
Candidate Requirements
Degree-level education, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
GCSE Maths, English, and Science at grades A-C (or equivalent)
Excellent spoken communication and
empathetic interaction skills
Professional appearance and a neat, organised teaching environment
Strong reliability; punctual and committed
Confidence teaching core subjects at primary level, adapting for SEND needs
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience tutoring or teaching primary-aged pupils
Familiarity with SEND strategies or working with children with Additional Educational Needs
Additional Notes
A current DBS check is
required
