Job Description

Justteachers are seeking a teaching assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Halifax, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference in children's learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost learning outcomes Assist in classroom management and behaviour support Help prepare and maintain a purposeful learning environment Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring equal access to learning Uphold safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately

Requirements:

Previous experience in a primary school setting Strong communication and teamwork skills A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to supporting children Understanding of the primary curriculum and inclusive education Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA Certificate) desirable Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one Legal right to work in the UK
