We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Prime Services Business Risk Manager to join our Markets team. In this role, you will act as the trusted risk advisor to the Prime Services leadership team, ensuring the business operates within the Bank's risk appetite while supporting growth and innovation. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring non-financial risks (NFRs) across the Prime Services business, driving a strong control environment, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary risk contact for the Prime Services business. Execute the Non-Financial Risk Framework: risk identification, control design, assessment, monitoring, and remediation. Lead and strengthen the control environment through testing, thematic reviews, and remediation of audit/regulatory findings. Monitor and advise on regulatory developments (e.g., EMIR, CFTC, Uncleared Margin Rules) and ensure operational resilience. Oversee risk governance forums, providing credible challenge and subject matter expertise. Support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and ensure accurate documentation. Provide risk input for new products, technology changes, and transformation projects. Engage with senior stakeholders, regulators, and internal committees, promoting a risk-aware culture. Skills and Qualifications

Technical & Professional Skills
Strong knowledge of Prime Services workflows (financing, margining, clearing, custody, execution). Proven track record in business risk management, operational risk, compliance, or internal audit within a global financial institution. Strong grasp of financial markets regulations and risk management frameworks. Experience with risk remediation programs and large-scale change initiatives. Data-driven mindset with ability to use management information (MI) and dashboards to influence decisions.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and risk governance committees. Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Self-starter with a problem-solving orientation and high integrity.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Risk, Business, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, ICA, PRMIA) preferred. Demonstrated experience in global regulatory regimes and risk control frameworks.
