Salary:
From 42,215 depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
Production of DEFCON 694 reports and AAC32 stocktaking submissions in line with MoD drumbeat
Collating data for GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) held offsite at sub-contractors and govern reporting of these assets
Utilising multiple SAP material management transactions and advanced Excel data analysis
Ensure 100% stocktake is conducted annually, and any discrepancies are investigated and reported
Facilitating BAE implementation of audit actions and recommendations to timelines agreed with (Defence Business Services) and while serving as the Key point of contact for DBS audits
Ensure GF Records are stored correctly in line with Document retention requirements
People responsibilities include, delegating work to one person and overseeing work
Your skills and experiences:
Material controls experience with good understanding of project management principles and processes
High level stakeholder management
High level of SAP/Excel experience
General governance knowledge

The Government Furnished Material
Management
team:
An exciting opportunity to join the team that manages Government Furnished material across the Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA Programmes. Here you will be working in a fast-paced environment within the Supply Chain function, working alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure Government Furnished material is managed and accounted for in accordance with MoD guidelines. There will be opportunities to grow and develop within this role to develop your knowledge within GF and the wider Logistics and Inventory Management function. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
