Our finishing and production department is a key part of our manufacturing facility, ensuring every campaign, display, sign or event product leaves our site finished to the highest standard and ready for installation. As a
Printer & CNC Operator
, you'll be responsible for operating a range of print and cutting equipment, as well as finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job bag and campaign specifications.
You will be working across multiple material types, large and small-format items, and 3D structures, using a variety of standard finishing and fabrication machinery. This is a hands-on, technical role within a fast-paced and rewarding department.
You will work closely with the sales, account management, and production teams to ensure all jobs are delivered accurately, on time, and to a standard that meets and exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Work to set daily tasks within the production and finishing team
Follow job manufacturing and finishing instructions as detailed in job bags/CRM
Report directly to the Factory Lead
Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets to a high standard
Follow the on-line work schedule through our CRM system
Adhere to all Health & Safety rules and safe working procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and other departments
Machine & Production Duties
CNC Cutting Tables:
Cutting, kiss-cutting, routing and profiling
Direct UV Printing:
wide-format printing up to 3.2m roll-to-roll and direct-to-media
gluing, assembly, taping, fixing, collating, and preparing items for dispatch
Skills & Experience Required
Excellent timekeeping and strong communication skills
Willingness to learn new processes and observe correct finishing techniques
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
Organised, capable, friendly and helpful team player
Ability to work under pressure and maintain output during busy periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to "right first time" quality
Pride in your work with the ability to remain focused, calm and motivated
Able to report and provide accurate information to management when required
Health & Safety aware and able to follow all company procedures
Manual handling will be required
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:30pm
Overtime available
Salary & Benefits
25,000 - 35,000 per year (DOE)
3-month probation period
