Job Description
We're looking for experienced print finishers to add to the growing team at our book production plant in Exeter.
Hours of Work:
Early - 6:00am to 2:30pm
Lates - 1:30pm to 10:00pm
Nights - 9:30pm to 6:00am [if required] Night shift bonus applies.
We are a successful Exeter based B1 litho book printing company specialising in quality colour paperback and hardback books. We are currently looking for Print Finishers to join the team with knowledge / experience in any of the following areas.
Folding Operator
- running pallet fed B1 and B2 Heidelberg Stahl folders producing book sections for our binding lines.Perfect Binding Operator
- running the latest [2020] Muller Martini Pantera Perfect binding line with in-line trimmer.Stitch & Trim Operator
- running Muller Martini Presto, stitch and trim line with book stacker.Responsibilities / Requirements:
Perform work to meet production and quality standards Ability to work on own initiative and self-motivated Follow all health & safety practices and company policies You must be motivated with a "can do" work ethic and enjoy being a team player with the ability to work well with others The ability to react to job specifications such as production time, operations, quality, and quantities required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Overtime available - paid at time and a quarter
Night Shift available when required - night shift bonus applies
