Print Finishing Assistant

Micropress is an innovative, UK-leading commercial printer employing over 195 people. We have exciting opportunities for committed candidates to train and develop in our state-of-the-art plant in Reydon, Suffolk.

Our busy production department is seeking two

full-time Finishing Assistants

to assist with the production of books, magazines and advertising publications.

Working as part of a large team, your duties will include supporting the main operators on Folders, stitching lines or Binding lines, packing books for despatch. You will also assist with the flow of work around the finishing department and help keep the working areas clear & tidy.

Previous experience is not essential, as the successful candidates will be fully trained to assist and run machinery according to job specifications, however, the ability to work well as part of a team is essential, as you will need to be able to communicate effectively to coordinate efforts.

The successful candidates will be reliable and meticulous, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks. Excellent time management, and the ability to work under pressure is key, as many projects are underway simultaneously.

We are looking for

Continental Night and Day Print Finishers

Normal working hours will be on a Continental Shift Nights 18:00 till 06:00 working

Sunday to Tuesday for three weeks, then Wednesday to Friday for three weeks.

and Day Continental Shift Days working 06:00 till 18:00.

Monday to Wednesday for three weeks, then Thursday to Saturday for three weeks.
