Overview

We are seeking a skilled Print Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating printing machinery and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor printing machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Set up print jobs according to specifications, including adjusting settings for colour, speed, and material type. Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment to prevent downtime and ensure longevity. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the fabrication and assembly of printed materials as required.

Requirements

Proficient in using CAD software for design purposes. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in print operations. Experience with SolidWorks for product design and development is advantageous. Ability to fabricate components using hand tools and basic maths skills for accurate measurements. Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial for assembly tasks. Experience with tooling and milling processes is desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
