? Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious solicitor to join their successful and highly regarded Private Client team.

About the Role

You will manage a diverse caseload covering all areas of Private Client law, including:

Wills and trusts Probate and contentious probate Lasting powers of attorney Inheritance tax Estate planning
You will be expected to manage files independently while delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage your own caseload of Private Client matters Maintain accurate and compliant client files (electronic and physical) Monitor billing and manage the financial performance of your caseload Identify and act on business development opportunities Ensure compliance with SRA rules and relevant regulations Support and mentor junior members of the team as needed Engage in relevant training and meet continuing professional development goals

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor with 1-8 years' PQE in Private Client law Hold or be working towards a STEP qualification Be technically strong with attention to detail Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be commercially aware and proactive in networking and business development Ideally have knowledge of or connections within the Birmingham market
