About the Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be expected to manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of Private Client Law, including:

Wills and trusts Lasting powers of attorney Probate and contentious probate Inheritance tax Estate planning
You'll be confident in handling matters independently and delivering a high standard of service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage private client files from instruction to completion Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical files in line with firm policies Monitor billing and ensure effective financial control of your caseload Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the team Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules, SRA Code of Conduct, and Money Laundering Regulations Support and supervise junior members of the team where required Meet training and professional development goals

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

1-8 years' PQE in Private Client Law STEP qualification (or working towards it) Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail A proactive and commercial approach to client service A network of contacts and the ability to contribute to business development Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
