Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a desire to inspire students through the power of music. This role involves teaching various musical concepts, instruments, and techniques to students of all ages, fostering their creativity and musical skills in a supportive environment.

Looking for the following instruments:

- Piano

- Singing

- Woodwing (flute, saxophone, clarinet)

- Strings (cello, violin, viola)

Duties



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Teach music theory, instrumental techniques, vocal skills, and performance practices. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Organise and lead music performances, recitals, or competitions to showcase student talent. Create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for music. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum. Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Experience



Minimum Grade 5 practical and theory Previous teaching experience in a classroom or private setting is advantageous. Proficiency in one or more musical instruments or vocal performance is essential. Strong understanding of music theory and pedagogy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. A passion for nurturing young musicians and fostering a lifelong love of music.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 23.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
