We are seeking a skilled dedicated Surveyor to join our team on a fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of properties to identify and assess issues related to damp and mould, disrepair and pest control. You will provide expert advice and recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our residents and the longevity of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of properties where we have received a report of disrepair, damp and mould or pest issues. Diagnose the causes of damp and mould and identify appropriate remedial and preventative measures. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation of findings. Liaise with contractors and customers, overseeing remedial works to ensure they are completed to a high standard and delivered within timescale. Deliver excellent customer engagement, providing updates on works and advice and support to residents on preventing and managing damp and mould. Stay up to date with industry standards, best practices and legislation.

Requirements:



Proven experience in damp and mould surveying or a related field. Strong knowledge of building construction, building pathology, Awaab's Law, Public Health act and legal Disrepair process. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications in surveying or building pathology are desirable.
