We are now seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our commercial strategy and bring new opportunities to life.
Role Overview
As a Proactive Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving commercial success by establishing key corporate accounts, increasing meeting and events revenue and helping to shape the strategic direction of the property. You'll be responsible for developing and nurturing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and converting leads into loyal customers.
You will work alongside the Assistant Director of Sales to shape and execute our sales strategy, lead the on-property sales team and champion a proactive sales culture throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking and research.
Develop and implement the hotel's commercial strategy in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Sales.
Re-establish and grow relationships with key clients, agencies, and past accounts.
Conduct regular face-to-face appointments.
Maintain a structured diary and inbox to ensure timely and professional client communication.
Drive enquiry conversions and proactively seek new corporate opportunities.
Achieve revenue targets as defined in the hotel's annual sales budget.
Maintain high levels of repeat business by nurturing existing client relationships.
Host site tours, prepare tailored proposals, contracts and quotations for prospective clients.
Stay ahead of the local competitive landscape and suggest strategic responses.
Support the conversion of leads from the reactive sales team and increase demand through proactive engagement.
Maintain and report on pipelines, forecasts, and performance using HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
Coordinate corporate and agency communication across digital and traditional channels.
What We're Looking For
A highly motivated, results-driven sales professional with at least 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and deliver revenue growth.
Excellent communication and attention to detail abilities.
Passionate about exceptional customer service and guest experience.
A proactive, well-connected individual with a keen understanding of local market trends.
