REQUIREMENTS
We're on the hunt for a focused, connected, and commercially minded Proactive Sales Manager to champion all things Mollie's in Manchester.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role focused on unlocking local opportunities and growing revenue across bedrooms, meetings events, and public FB including private hire, co-working, our Diner and The Granada Bar . You'll thrive on building relationships, spotting trends in guest behaviour, and representing Mollie's in the local market.
You'll work in close partnership with the Head of Sales and group teams to drive strategy locally, nurturing national accounts at a regional level, growing referral networks, and turning high-potential guest segments into loyal business. You'll also build brand-enhancing partnerships with sports clubs, creative hubs, production companies, cultural institutions, and experiential venues to drive sales and elevate the guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent Mollie's Manchester
Represent Mollie's at networking events, trade shows, FAM trips, and local hospitality forums
Host site visits and venue showcases to build profile and partnerships
Act as the local voice of the brand -- warm, engaging, visible and credible
Drive Local Business
Secure new business across rooms, events and FB from sectors including corporate, production, entertainment, education, and SME
Build and nurture local contacts within national accounts -- including PAs, travel bookers and regional offices
Create lasting partnerships with Manchester's sports venues, filming studios, creative spaces, non-accommodation venues and experience brands for mutual referrals and collaborative activations
Sell the Space
Maximise revenue across meeting rooms, private events, co-working use, and bar/diner
Work with Brand for awareness of the venue's event and lifestyle offering
Collaborate with operations to deliver experiences that convert first-time guests into repeat customers
Convert On-Site Opportunities
Identify sales potential from in-house guests, with a key focus of segmented groups like entertainment, production and corporate
Foster a sales-minded culture across the wider team, supporting staff to flag and funnel warm leads
Track and nurture high-value repeat business opportunities from check-in to post-stay
Track, Report and Deliver
Maintain an active, well-managed CRM pipeline and deliver on revenue goals
Collaborate with the central commercial circle including sales, revenue, marketing, and PR to align on pricing, campaigns, and demand periods
Deliver monthly reporting, insight, and recommendations to drive continuous improvement
Sustainability
