As a Barclays Process Change & Governance Manager, you will be working within the EME Client Management team that supports CIB Clients through the lending journey, this includes Bilateral, Syndicated, Structured Finance, Participation, Asset Management Lending and Agency function. Within this role you will be the primary subject matter expert for EMEA Client Management teams and point of reference for Procedural / Process / Risk & Control / Change Project queries and issues.

Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances

What will you be doing?

  • Processing and offering procedural Advice for Lending products including change management
  • Maintaining process controls, application profiles, escalating technical issues and risks associated with services with presentation of solution options
  • Ensuring compliance to all specified controls; conduct checks and attestation processes for bespoke Debt including asset management, structured lending and syndicated loans
  • Creating and maintaining close working relationships within CIB Ops and wider business partners and internal/external stakeholders
  • Liaising with functional leads, providing feedback, coaching and supporting the performance development of team members
  • Interacting with multiple stakeholders in Product, Legal, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Origination, Governance and O&T teams
  • Acting as the dedicated liaison point for other operational, business and infrastructure teams
  • Creating a knowledge-sharing environment
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Proven experience in an Operations role within Lending/Debt Product
  • Extensive knowledge of internal lending and security processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills: in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas/departments as well as Stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills: must undertake Operational impact and data analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills that will help you in the role
  • Some exposure to (Data Protection Act, Consumer credit, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, Money Laundering, KYC and confidentiality regulations
  • Familiarity with internal IT systems across the Lending ecosystem including Siebel, Zeus, LISTT, GCIS, MOC, Intellimatch, INFoRM, Fullserve, GPT, ACBS, Loan IQ

Barclays Snowhill is at the heart of the professional district and commands a workforce of around 1000. With great transport links to Birmingham Grand Central and Snowhill train stations as well as the local metro. Our office has a dedicated staff coffee shop and deli and break out areas for staff.
