Procurement Coordinator

We currently require a temporary Procurement Coordinator to provide Maternity leave cover within our Purchasing Department. This position will be offered on a

12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring continuity and efficiency during the maternity cover period.

The main role for the successful applicant will incorporate functions such as (but not limited to):

Sourcing compliant parts for component repairs. Sourcing best possible price and lead times and negotiating with suppliers. Raising orders. Regular monitoring of all spares on order to ensure TAT's are met. Weekly reports to all suppliers and workshops Conversing with Commercial and Technical Division teams Allocating spares and putting units into work. Assisting Goods In with any part discrepancies/rejections. Raising repair orders and monitoring all third-party repairs Raising sales quotations and orders.

The applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with internal departments and external vendors to foster productive relationships. Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively, and meeting tight deadlines. Demonstrate high accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and document management. Have an understanding of fundamental procurement concepts, terminology, and processes, enabling quick adaptation to the role's requirements. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Works collaboratively with colleagues, supporting a positive and cooperative team environment. Good understanding and experience of MS Office suite. Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential.
Job Information:

Working Hours 08:30 - 16:30 Mon - Fri - 37.5 hours per week (half an hour for lunch). 28 days PA Holiday starting entitlement (Includes bank holidays).
