About the Role
We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced furniture manufacturing workshop. This role is essential to ensuring the timely sourcing and delivery of materials and components required for production.
Key Responsibilities
o
Place Purchase Orders: Source and order raw materials, components, and supplies in line with production needs and inventory levels.
o
Order Tracking: Monitor the status of all orders, ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate records of lead times and supplier communication.
o
Handle Remedials: Address issues with orders such as delays, damages, or discrepancies; follow up with vendors to resolve problems quickly.
o
Supplier Communication: Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and service providers.
o
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular updates to internal teams on material availability and order status.
Skills & Qualifications
o
Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role (preferably in manufacturing or a related field).
o
Strong communication and organizational skills.
o
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
o
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
o
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
