We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that all materials and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and negotiation skills to optimise our purchasing strategies and maintain supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data to support decision-making processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of supply.
Conduct regular reviews of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS is essential.
Excellent understanding of logistics processes and supply chain dynamics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
