Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee our procurement operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our organization effectively sources materials and services while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement management, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.

Duties



Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely delivery. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement activities and data analysis. Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and improve processes. Oversee category management initiatives to optimize purchasing strategies across various product lines. Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other relevant guidelines. Monitor market trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities and risks. Manage logistics related to procurement activities, ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Maintain relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and quality management.

Experience



Proven experience in procurement management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of MRP systems, logistics, materials management, and production planning. Demonstrated expertise in contract management, negotiation skills, and supplier relationship management. Familiarity with quality management principles and practices related to procurement processes. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle EBS preferred) for procurement functions. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct pricing analysis and evaluate supplier performance. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Pay: 35,538.70-68,282.96 per year
