YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

You translate corporate planning into a market procurement roadmap for our national company in the Countries of UK and BENELUX and act as a business partner for internal stakeholders, manage global requirements and adapt them for the local procurement market. You ensure that quality standards are maintained in all procurement projects You monitor markets to identify conventional and innovative strategies and partners and act as a general market buyer with high focus on our commodities Other Fleet Cost, Logistics, Turnaround, Real Estate & Construction and support our Corporate Category Management Team in Marketing & Partner, IT & Communications or Professional Services projects You conduct RFx tenders, auctions, and contract negotiations as needed, while supporting rollouts and implementing the group-wide e-Sourcing and eProcurement strategy You conduct annual negotiations with existing partners and intermediaries, supporting international subsidiaries in their procurement activities while improving the cost structure of SIXT You develop and implement product group strategies with group-wide responsibility and ensure alignment across all regions You review and optimize our international quality standards and implement them with our local partners

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Experience

You have proven experience in the indirect procurement environment as strategic buyer or with several years of professional experience in a comparable role managing the full cradle-to-grave procurement process (from initial planning to project closeout)

Additional Experience

You will have a proven track record of leading teams in negotiations, project planning, and purchasing tools training and implementations

Technical Proficiency

You have a comprehensive understanding of our product groups, enabling effective supplier management, sourcing strategies, advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create detailed presentations and analyze complex data

Soft Skills

You have exceptional negotiation skills with a strong focus on cost optimization and achieving value-driven outcomes; You are highly resilient under pressure, demonstrating excellent team collaboration, assertiveness, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments

Language skills

You have fluent English language in written and spoken; additional languages such as German, can also be used in your daily work

Commitment to Excellence

You are adaptable to agile work environments and comfortable handling short-term project changes with professionalism and experience

Travel

You are flexible and willing to travel up to 10%
