Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procuring construction and interior materials from both local and international markets. This role involves end-to-end procurement responsibilities including vendor sourcing, negotiation, material inspection, cost control, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and purchase construction and interior materials from international and local vendors. Identify reliable suppliers and build long-term relationships to ensure continuous supply and quality. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure best value and terms in line with company requirements. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in a timely manner. Coordinate with logistics and customs agents to ensure timely and cost-effective import of goods. Conduct material inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications before acceptance. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and deliveries. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines and avoid work stoppages. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project and warehouse teams to plan replenishments. Stay updated with market trends and alternative materials to support cost savings and innovation. Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or disputes with vendors. Prepare regular reports on procurement status and vendor performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing construction and interior materials, including international procurement. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement softwares.

Pay: 33,000.00-46,500.00 per year
