Work closely with the Delivery Team and Project Managers to procure main subcontract packages -- including joinery, M&E, flooring, partitions, ceilings, and specialist finishes.
Prepare and issue tender enquiries, assess quotations, and support package recommendations for approval.
Negotiate and place purchase orders and subcontracts in line with agreed budgets and timelines.
Maintain accurate project cost tracking and procurement schedules in coordination with Quantity Surveyors.
Support value engineering and cost optimisation across projects without compromising quality or compliance.
Factory & Material Procurement (CDS Production)
Manage material and component purchasing for the CDS factory -- including sheet materials, fittings, hardware, and consumables.
Monitor stock levels, supplier lead times, and deliveries to ensure uninterrupted cabinetry production.
Develop preferred supplier relationships and framework pricing agreements for core materials.
Support the implementation of improved stock management and digital tracking systems.
Purchase Ledger & Financial Control
Oversee purchase invoice processing, coding, and approvals across all divisions.
Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs in coordination with the Finance Manager.
Maintain supplier account accuracy and assist with month-end reporting.
Provide cost and spend reports for management review, highlighting trends and variances.
Compliance & Process
Ensure all procurement follows company policy, cost approval routes, and contractual governance.
Maintain supplier documentation (RAMS, insurance, accreditations, HTM/healthcare compliance).
Support continuous improvement of procurement systems, dashboards, and reporting efficiency.
The principal company software is Odoo, although we use Procore for project management.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in procurement or purchase ledger management within a construction, fit-out, or manufacturing environment.
Commercial understanding of subcontract and supplier procurement processes.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
High accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and cost allocation.
Proficient in Excel, Odoo, and project cost control systems.
Excellent communication and organisational skills across multiple teams.
