Job description

The Product Compliance Officer will be process driven, have a high detail of accuracy and be motivated to deliver results. The role will ensure all product matches the agreed production specification.

Key Responsibilities

Working in a factory environment to ensure that all pre-agreed parameters of the product are delivered and checked in the final product. Participate in taste panels to ensure all products consistently meet agreed QAS standards. Manage and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all products and relevant factory machinery. Conduct regular factory floor product reviews to capture washout data and confirm products remain within agreed tolerances. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality and food safety procedures across the factory. Administration of manufacturing specifications sheets and updates subject to sign off by appropriate management. All people involved in production will be responsible for audits, food safety and health and safety (HACCP) Support the Product team with projects and trials.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong analytical mindset Knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety management systems. Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and auditing skills. Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams. IT literate, with experience in Microsoft Office and QMS software (desirable). Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
