We're a modern and progressive company with long term pipeline of work for the production of commercial furniture for Dfe and Mod Projects. Job Overview

:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Product designer to join our team.

As a designer you will be responsible for the production of new products using, SmartWOP (a new parametric cabinet design software by HOMAG) and then produce detailed drawings for manufacture and installation.

Other software includes, Sketchup and REVIT. The ideal candidate will have experience in using the Sketchup and ideally REVIT. As smartWOP is new and very user friendly this will be taught for the role.

Responsibilities

:

- Use various software to generate to produce manufacturing drawings and CNC programmes (SmartWOP and WoodWOP software is used for Homag machines)

- Produce construction issue drawings using SketchUP and REVIT

- Assist the Technical administration with comprehensive details of material quantities etc to feed into MRP software

Qualifications

:

- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, MicroStation, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, CAD

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry

Expected Hours

: No less than 37.5 hours per week

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
