What we're looking for...




We're looking for a Product Innovation Technologist to join our Alcohol R&D team and help bring our innovation plans to fruition. You'll be part of the team that develops the exciting new flavours across our alcohol portfolio so think FUNKIN and think KA Remix!

As our Product Innovation Technologist you will



Develop new and existing formulations in collaboration with the NPD manager. Organise retention samples and regular production sample tastings. Coordinate gold standard sampling with manufacturing sites. Attend factory trials and product launches in order to comprehend applicable factory processes. Review and update raw material and finished product specifications. Coordinate consumer testing, sensory evaluations and competitor reviews. Assess new raw materials in conjunction with supply chain and quality teams. Provide assistance during shelf-life trials to establish microbiological and organoleptic standards. Assist with technical and value engineering projects. Support completion of customer forms and technical databases. Follow-up customer complaints tracking in coordination with the Quality Manager.

What you'll bring...



Passion for innovation and willingness to learn. Minimum 1 year experience within an NPD department in the food manufacturing industry. Experience with beverages and alcoholic drinks is highly desirable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Degree in Food Science or related discipline or equivalent technical experience. A good understanding of good manufacturing practices and food quality assurance systems. HACCP Level 2 highly desirable.
