An award-winning Tour Operator, specialising in Europe is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their friendly, dynamic and experienced team in Edinburgh. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to head up a small department in a dynamic environment. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Development and implementation of the holiday product and strategy.
- Sourcing new product, hotel write ups for the website/brochure and producing agent offers.
- Contract negotiations with new and existing partners, this may include UK and overseas travel.
- Maintain excellent relationships with agents and partners, including attending networking events and agent training some of which will be out of hours.
- Work closely with the Marketing department with brochure production.
- Report on product and sales data to identify key trends and opportunities, and set sales targets accordingly for the sales team.
- Annual budget and forecasting.
- Overseeing the quality control of booking and ensure we comply with industry standards.
- Deal with operational issues and manage client relations.
- Out of hours phone duties on a rota basis.
- Line management duties as and when needed such as appraisals, HR issues, training etc.
- Rota management for the department and the out of hours phone.
- Support and training of the sales and product team, and any new starts.
- Assist with sales and after-sales enquiries over the phone and by e-mail, this may involve some Saturday work.
- General administrative duties.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will have previous experience within the Travel Industry in a product role. You are a personable and confident individual with the ability to develop strong relationships with accommodation partners, customers and the team. You have good travel knowledge and experience, both in the UK and Europe.
You are forward-thinking and have a flexible approach to your work. You have the ability to see things from the customer\'s perspective and always strive to exceed their expectations.

THE PACKAGE:
Salary is dependent on experience (in the region of \xc2\xa330k pa) and will be discussed in more details along with benefits!
