Salary: \xc2\xa345,000
Location: South Wales HQ - Hybrid Model (3 days p/w)

This leading South Wales based 4G/5G and technology distributor are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join their Vendor Management Programme and work closely with their Sales, technical and Business System teams. Your support will ensure that the information that teams rely on to deliver the best possible customer experience is accurate and timely.

Essential Experience:

  • A technically minded perspective and thrive in enabling product understanding & the understanding trends of networking, Telecommunications, and XR technologies. At minimum, experience within a SaaS environment.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to own your own performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong analytic & problem-solving ability
  • Excellent Excel and DB skills
  • Excellent organisational skills including priority-setting and the ability to adjust as demands change.
  • An ability to interact at all levels; VP, vendor management, etc. building & maintaining relationships.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
The following experience and qualifications are also desirable, but not essential:
  • Degree in a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role, preferably in Networking and or XR technologies
  • A good understanding of, Last Mile Access technologies, such as: Fibre, Wireless, 5G and IP (Internet Protocol) Networking and how they are deployed.
Day to day responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the CEO and Vendor Management to establish a Product function.
  • Being the product expert across the portfolio and provide advice to internal teams.
  • Establish and manage the medium to long term roadmap and manage the Product lifecycle.
  • Providing supporting information to enable efficient purchasing, inventory management and pricing.
  • Manage & report KPI (key performance indicators) against product metrics.
  • Interface with the Marketing, Business systems and Sales team to communicate new product updates.
  • Interface with suppliers to maintain up to date product information and provide Vendor performance reporting.
  • Contributing to the definition of new product requirements and creating product specifications to be integrated into the product portfolio.
  • Analysing customer feedback and usage data to improve the portfolio and customer offerings.
  • Assist with product and vendor related internal process definition and documentation across Group departments.
