Job Description

Salon Promotions / Neal & Wolf are looking for a highly organised and detail-obsessed individual to join our team as a Product & Marketing Administrator. This is a hands-on role, designed to support our Product & Compliance Manager, while also assisting the wider marketing team with administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will thrive in spreadsheets, enjoy projects, structure and routine, and have a natural eye for accuracy - particularly when proofreading or working with product data. They'll be someone who takes pride in keeping projects on track, ensuring documentation is up-to-date, and maintaining high standards of compliance and detail.

You'll be confident communicating with both internal colleagues and external suppliers, and happy to take ownership of data collation, certification support, and product admin. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes making everything run smoothly.

Product Responsibilities



Leaping Bunny & Vegan Society Compliance:
o Request, review and chase updated raw material declarations from manufacturers.

o Populate and submit required documentation

o Review monthly overview of upcoming renewals.

EPR, Plastic Tax, WEEE Compliance and other Packaging Regulations:
o Collect packaging weights and composition data from all suppliers.

o Maintain and update a central spreadsheet for compliance reporting.

o Keep up to date with packaging regulation changes

o Recommend improvements to product packaging to enhance recyclability, and to reduce our EPR and Plastic Tax fees

o Ensure all packaging is up-to-date with recycling symbols and other legal requirements as new laws and regulations come into effect

Maintain and update product status reports, moving tracking to our project management tool for improved visibility across all ongoing projects. Support with management of critical paths for all New Product Development (NPD) and product-related projects. Maintain and update a project cost tracker per product to ensure financial accuracy and visibility. Cross-check and update ingredients lists and product descriptions across the Neal & Wolf and Salon Promotions websites to reflect the latest product versions. Brief and proof packaging designs and artwork, working closely with our design team to ensure accuracy and compliancy of information

Marketing Responsibilities



Manage and coordinate ordering of point-of-sale materials. Provide ad hoc marketing reporting and administrative support as needed. Assist in building marketing emails and audience segments. Raise purchase orders and place orders using Sage and other systems. Support digital engagement activities across social media platforms, such as engaging with salon content or digital prospecting of new accounts Manage our salon affiliate program for the Neal & Wolf brand Support with competitor analysis, range planning and other ad hoc administrative marketing tasks

Skills & Attributes:



Exceptional attention to detail - especially when proofreading, managing product data, or cross-checking ingredient lists. Highly organised and methodical - able to juggle multiple tasks, track deadlines, and manage complex spreadsheets with confidence. Strong Excel skills - comfortable with formulas, sorting, filtering, and maintaining structured datasets. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, for liaising with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams. A self-starter with strong follow-through - someone who is determined, proactive, and doesn't let things fall through the cracks. Comfortable with systems - including project management tools, Sage (for purchase orders), and email marketing platforms. Team player - happy to support others across departments and pitch in wherever admin support is needed. Interested in being an integral part of the brand's sustainability/ethical journey, and making a difference wherever they can. Experience of any Cosmetic compliance or accreditations such as Leaping Bunny or Vegan Society would be extremely desirable
Salary subject to experience. There is an opportunity for this role to be part-time or full-time; please state your desired hours in your covering letter.
