Join an internationally leading academic publishing company based in Central London. Their digital learning resources provide fantastic opportunities for students, researchers, and librarians across STEM disciplines. By working with the in-house cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to shape and optimise new and existing products.

What you\'ll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Digital Products, you will join a friendly, collaborative, and ambitious Product Team. You will take the product ownership responsibility for the existing SCRUM team, and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering, quality assurance and agile delivery professionals. As a Product Owner, you will be taking part in all Scrum ceremonies, leading backlog, sprint planning, and optimize existing processes.

  • Supporting Product Managers and developing understanding of roadmaps and strategies.
  • Improving team\'s agile approach and leading Scrum ceremonies.
  • Assisting in all Product Ownership tasks.
To succeed in this role, you will be dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, presenting exceptional communication skills. With time, you will also broaden the support of the Learning team\'s mission, vision, and values.

What experience you\'ll need:
  • Previous experience on a similar role as a Product Owner.
  • Experience using and working with SCRUM and agile methodologies.
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with ease, and work in a diverse, multidisciplinary teams on different seniority levels.
  • Previous experience in sprint planning and backlog refinements.
  • Exposure to mitigating product roadmap, understanding its strategy, and escalating any issues that may arise during the product development.
