Job Description

The Production Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the production team, ensuring smooth workflows, accurate documentation, and timely communication across departments. This role is key to maintaining production efficiency and supporting overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily production schedules and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including timesheets, inventory levels, and quality control reports. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure materials and resources are available when needed. Prepare and distribute production reports, KPIs, and other relevant documentation. Support procurement and stock management by tracking orders and deliveries. Assist in the preparation of production budgets and cost tracking. Help manage health and safety compliance and maintain relevant records. Handle general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and internal communications. Support the Head of Manufacturing in planning and implementing process improvements. Act as a point of contact for production-related queries from internal teams.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in an administrative or production support role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and production management software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Basic understanding of production processes, inventory management, and scheduling. A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:

Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
