What you'll bring to the role:
Demonstrate a solid background and experience in a manufacturing environment
From ERP data provide support to manage weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and forecasted demand, working in parallel with stock control and kit cutting of raw materials and picking of primary and secondary kits.
Liaise with operational teams to ensure compliance with expected delivery timelines to support the management of customers' expectations for OTDIF.
Monitor material requirements being driven through the ERP system, managing levels of stock holding to prevent 'stock out' and optimise efficiency.
Identify and resolve any supply chain issues or bottlenecks that may impact operations.
Maintain accurate data on ERP system regarding stock levels, order status, lead times and planning parameters.
Manage and maintain a controlled process for issuing complete kits to operational areas on time and in full.
Negotiate pricing, terms and lead times with suppliers to maximise value and reliability.
Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) across all areas of operations.
Work closely with Accounts management on budget forecasting, stock valuation and supplier account management.
What we look for:
Proven experience in a similar Production, Planning or Purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control and production planning.
Experience with ERP systems (Progress Plus or equivalent).
Be resourceful and adaptable with good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Able to prioritise and work independently and within a team.
Have excellent attention to detail.
To be passionate and resourceful with the ability to be flexible to changes in daily pace.

Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
