8.5 hours per day, 9 days per fortnight, between the hours of 8AM - 5PM. Occasional additional Saturdays required.

Unit 6, Forge Business Centre, Upper Rose Lane, Palgrave, Suffolk, IP22 1AP

Salary:

24,784.50 - 27,895.17 PA, dependent on experience.

We are looking for a hands-on Production Assistant to join our team and support our manufacturing operations. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about sustainability and craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and assembly of materials and products. Operation of the CNC machine. Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Support the Production Coordinator in tracking stock and inventory. Assist with quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards. Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Operate production equipment under supervision, including CNC machines, bandsaws, table saws, and handheld power tools.

What We're Looking For

A proactive and hands-on approach to work. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. A willingness to learn and develop new skills in a manufacturing environment. Experience with woodworking, CNC operation or manufacturing processes is a plus but not essential.

Skills and Qualifications

UK Driving Licence essential. Competent in using Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications essential. Experience using design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD and VCarve desirable. Forklift Licence desirable. CSCS Card desirable.
