Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by utilising various tools and equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing of parts and quality control. This position is essential for maintaining workflow within our manufacturing environment and and is considered a crutial role in supporting existing production staff across the factory environment.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 1.30pm

Potential permanancy to full time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Assist in the manufacture of our product line. Support the production team in the setup and operation and monitoring of machinery. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Handle materials and components within the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory management.

Skills

Good understanding of work-flow procedures. Prior knowledge of processing materials within our sector not essential but could be an advantage. A proactive attitude to learning new skills in machine operations. Previous experience in a production based operation would be an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory control and material handling. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Prior knowledge of machine operation considered advantageous. Self-motivation is a key consideration. Requires excellent understanding of both written and verbal instructions.

Pay: 13.00 per hour
