Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for processing MTO (Made-to-Order) products and improving the day-to-day operations within the Engineering Department. Your main responsibilities will include driving productivity improvements, enhancing product quality, and supporting the reduction of operational costs.

Key Responsibilities
:
MTO Processing
: Process MTO products efficiently and work to reduce processing times. Achieve the agreed MTO processing SLA (>90% target).
Engineering Support
: Provide technical support to various departments, including operations and purchasing. Assist with specifying and approving new/alternative materials.
Design & Development
: Use CAD (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) to design and update production drawings for MTO orders.
Continuous Improvement
: Lead initiatives for productivity, waste reduction, and quality improvement across manufacturing operations.
Compliance & Safety
: Ensure compliance with European water industry regulations and encourage a culture of safety and compliance across teams.
Cost Reduction
: Contribute to cost-reduction strategies while ensuring high-quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
: Work closely with other departments to integrate new products and improve existing processes.

recognized qualification

Mechanical Engineering

Proven experience with
CAD
(SolidWorks preferred, AutoCAD beneficial).
Familiarity with
electrical circuit diagrams
or hands-on experience with wiring and electrical systems.
A strong
mechanical design background
, ideally with knowledge of
GRP

Roto Moulding
, drive components, and pumps.
Strong communication
skills, with the ability to engage both shop floor and senior management teams.
Excellent
