Job Description
Banham Poultry (2018) recruiting for Production Manager to control the company's production operations to ensure that all targets are met within the specified quality standards and budgets. To manage the people within the department.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day organisation of production and customer requirements within their department.
Oversee, manage and motivate staff
Liaise with all other internal departments.
Responsible for managing the Production Supervisor and other subordinates.
Ensure that return to work interviews; disciplinaries and grievances for staff are undertaken
Undertake problem solving within production
Monitor and maintain food safety, health & safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Monitor waste, yields, stock rotation and costs.
Work to a set of Key Performance Indicators and report to Factory Manager.
Deputise for Factory Manager as required
Any other duties required by Senior Management.
Shift pattern / rates
Monday to Friday 07.15 - 16.45 (Hours may vary and will be agreed)
Salary - depending on experience
Requirements (training given if required)
Good general Production Management Background CIEH Level 3 Health & Safety for Supervisors or IOSH Disciplinary and Grievance Knowledge of COSHH Manual Handling Training HACCP Awareness Environmental Awareness Level 3 Food Safety
