Job Description

I am working with a well-established food manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their leadership team. This is a key role, responsible for overseeing operations, managing teams, and ensuring smooth, efficient performance across the site.
The Role:
As Production Manager, you'll ensure production runs effectively, safely, and to the highest standards. You'll be responsible for planning resources, improving efficiencies, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement while meeting business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring strong engagement and consistent delivery.
Manage day-to-day production, focusing on efficiency, cost, and quality.
Work closely with other leaders across the business to achieve shared objectives.
Uphold high standards in safety, compliance, and performance.
Support ongoing improvement and best practice initiatives.

About You:

Proven management experience in a fast-paced meat manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
Good understanding of production processes, compliance, performance management, yield and wastage.
Results-focused, adaptable, and committed to driving improvement.
Experience working with meat/beef is also highly desirable.
