We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of production processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing a team, optimising workflows, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and coordinating repairs as needed. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment. Train staff on the proper use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for efficiency gains.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and maintain various machinery. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly processes. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is desirable.

Salary relative to experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-40,000.00 per year
