DOER

- someone who sees what needs doing and gets it done. Fast.

This is NOT an office-based management role.

You'll be on the production floor, sleeves rolled up, working alongside your team every day. If you thrive leading from the front in fast-paced environments and love getting hands-on results, we want to hear from you.

Secret Creation is scaling rapidly in the high-volume gift market, and we need a Production Manager who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in when things get busy.

What You'll Be Doing

Hands-On Team Leadership



Lead from the workshop floor - you'll be working alongside your team, not managing from an office Build a positive, high-energy work culture by example and presence Recruit, train, and develop production staff who share our "get it done" attitude Jump in during busy periods to help hit targets and keep morale high Handle performance conversations and ensure everyone contributes

Floor-Based Production Operations



Manage daily production schedules while actively participating in the work Oversee quality control by checking work yourself and teaching standards Operate equipment when needed and maintain machines to peak performance Troubleshoot production issues hands-on and keep lines moving Ensure health & safety compliance through direct involvement, not paperwork

Process Improvement & Systems



Design and implement efficient workflows for high-volume gift production Set up new processes as we launch new product lines Identify bottlenecks and solve them before they become problems Work with AI tools to optimize production scheduling and quality control (we're actively implementing AI across operations) Introduce technology and automation where it makes sense

Results & Accountability



Hit daily, weekly, and monthly production targets consistently Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement Liaise with artwork, packaging, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations Report on key metrics and drive continuous improvement

Problem Solving



When things go wrong (and they will), you fix them fast Make decisions under pressure without needing constant approval Find creative solutions to keep production moving Be the go-to person when urgent orders need to happen

Practical Requirements:



Proven track record of hands-on team leadership (minimum 5+ people) Comfortable working on the production floor, not from an office Experience hitting targets while actively participating in the work Physical fitness for workshop environment and manual tasks Happy to operate machinery, handle materials, and get involved in all aspects of production Right to work in the UK Reliable transport to BN27 4EL (free parking provided)

Compensation:



Salary:

32,000 per year (fixed rate based on experience, non-negotiable) Annual salary reviews as you and the company grow
