We're not looking for someone who needs their hand held. We need a
DOER
- someone who sees what needs doing and gets it done. Fast.
This is NOT an office-based management role.
You'll be on the production floor, sleeves rolled up, working alongside your team every day. If you thrive leading from the front in fast-paced environments and love getting hands-on results, we want to hear from you.
Secret Creation is scaling rapidly in the high-volume gift market, and we need a Production Manager who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in when things get busy.
What You'll Be Doing
Hands-On Team Leadership
Lead from the workshop floor - you'll be working alongside your team, not managing from an office
Build a positive, high-energy work culture by example and presence
Recruit, train, and develop production staff who share our "get it done" attitude
Jump in during busy periods to help hit targets and keep morale high
Handle performance conversations and ensure everyone contributes
Floor-Based Production Operations
Manage daily production schedules while actively participating in the work
Oversee quality control by checking work yourself and teaching standards
Operate equipment when needed and maintain machines to peak performance
Troubleshoot production issues hands-on and keep lines moving
Ensure health & safety compliance through direct involvement, not paperwork
Process Improvement & Systems
Design and implement efficient workflows for high-volume gift production
Set up new processes as we launch new product lines
Identify bottlenecks and solve them before they become problems
Work with AI tools to optimize production scheduling and quality control (we're actively implementing AI across operations)
Introduce technology and automation where it makes sense
Results & Accountability
Hit daily, weekly, and monthly production targets consistently
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement
Liaise with artwork, packaging, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations
Report on key metrics and drive continuous improvement
Problem Solving
When things go wrong (and they will), you fix them fast
Make decisions under pressure without needing constant approval
Find creative solutions to keep production moving
Be the go-to person when urgent orders need to happen
