We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead our production operations. This is an outstanding opportunity to make a real impact in the leisure home manufacturing industry while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

What You'll Do

As our Production Manager, you'll be at the heart of our people and operations, ensuring goods and services are produced and dispatched safely, cost-effectively, and on time while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead with identifying development and training opportunities to enable production team up-skill, progression and skill utilisation in line with business needs and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day production operations including scheduling, quality control (working with our Quality Manager), and safety procedures Develop staff to fulfil their potential in line with business needs Manage and inspire the production team, fostering collaboration toward common goals and building a culture proud of Beverley Leisure Homes mission Oversee both inbound and outbound activities to ensure seamless workflow Monitor production progress and ensure all timelines are consistently met Drive process improvements to optimise efficiency and quality, working closely with other departments Implement changes that will support getting the best from the production team, machinery and site Work closely with the technical team, NPD and purchasing to maintain a clear understanding of requirements to achieve understanding and accuracy with drawings and product requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations Prepare detailed reports on production activities, performance metrics, and cost analyses Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting initiatives Support HR with reviews, disciplinary matters, and recruitment processes Champion Health & Safety policies and procedures across all operations

Requirements:

5+ years of production management experience, preferably in the leisure home manufacturing industry but not mandatory Proven leadership and management capabilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams Experience with 5s / Lean principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking approach Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards Flexibility with working additional hours as and when required
